I just tried Ubuntu Precise Alpha 2 and looks like this is also the case with CDMA modem. I use ZTE AC2726. It is detected as CD-ROM, and can't be ejected. When I try to eject it, either via Disk Utility or terminal, I got the following error:
"eject: unable to eject, last error: Invalid argument" In my case, using 'udevadm trigger' doesn't work. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/925473 Title: USB 3g modems dont switch to ttyUSB until udevadm trigger To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/usb-modeswitch/+bug/925473/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
