Sadly this is a limitation of the nvidia binary driver. It does not provide the XRandR 1.2 interface that gnome-color-manager uses to do the display colour management.
The calibrate button is only enabled when you have some colour- calibration hardware plugged in - you can't calibrate your screen without a colorimeter or other such hardware, so it doesn't make sense for the calibrate button to be enabled without it. ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/884923 Title: "gnome-control-center color" doesn't display monitors for calibration To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/884923/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
