Sadly this is a limitation of the nvidia binary driver.  It does not
provide the XRandR 1.2 interface that gnome-color-manager uses to do the
display colour management.

The calibrate button is only enabled when you have some colour-
calibration hardware plugged in - you can't calibrate your screen
without a colorimeter or other such hardware, so it doesn't make sense
for the calibrate button to be enabled without it.
