Did the same for me... during a software update... only 3 packages in my 
update, and here they are...
(I am running 12.04)

Distribution updates
-network management framework (common files for wifi and mobile)
  libnm-gtk-common (size 6 kB)
-network management framework (GNOME dialogs for wifi and mobile)
  libnm-gtk0 (size: 68 kB)
-network management framework (GMONE frontend)
  network-manager-gnome (size 398 kB)

When I restarted the update manager, it did it's check and install
without error...
