Hey, I'm the Debian maintainer for lurker.

Lurker had been removed from ubuntu in 2008/2009 due to missing
dependencies. I guess that this was a temporary issue. Libmimelib1, the
dependency in question, has been in Ubuntu for a long time. During the
migration from kde3 to kde4, libmimelib1 was split into an own source
package in Debian, and I guess that this source package wasn't merged to
ubuntu in time. Now that it's available again in Ubuntu for years, I
don't see a reason why the lurker package should be merged back into
ubuntu as well.

Just for your interest, I got a request for help with lurker on a Ubuntu
Server which hosts lots of mailinglists recently. In other words, there
are Ubuntu users with interest in Ubuntu lurker packages.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
 jonas
