I'm sorry it took so long for me to answer, but this email fell off my
radar.

What you understand is pretty much how it is: the SSO username and
password are needed only one to add a particular device to U1, and from
then (and upto to remove that device from U1), a token will be used to
validate all the requests (and this token has nothing to do with your
SSO username and password).

Hope that my clarification was, as I intended, clear :-P.
