Public bug reported: The maximum setting aka right-most position of the mouse sensitivity slider in the Mouse Preferences control panel is too low.
Some users (like me) might have two screens and wish to be able to move their pointer a long way relative to the amount they have to move their mouse pointing device. There should be no reason why the maximum setting cannot be somewhat higher. Alternatively, this could be implemented as a checkbox -- a la 20 dB boost in sound mixing apps -- which could "shift" or "remap" the current slider values to somewhere higher. ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/924648 Title: mouse preferences sensitivity: max is too low To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/924648/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
