I have the same problem explained here on a abit ab9 with Intel Core 2 duo (e6320). The exact problem of Daniel Matysiak. Please, if you need more info i will be very pleased to give it. It's a very big problem for me since i only use Ubuntu as O.S. and i have a new PC completely stopped due to this critical bug :( Hope to hear news very soon. ZeNo
