this may be an issue with the russian translation (as the english text
mentions the need of uppercase letter and digit). Can you please verify
against our translations?

I'm not entirely clear what you mean with mailbox name. Did this happen while 
using the desktop client, or the SSO web page? If this is the same issue that 
jay armstrong reported, then it's the desktop client.
