Ok, thanks for checking, I didn't want to spend too much time looking into this for nothing. I just found the perl DBus library has been updated in july (the previous version dated from 2008) to v1.0.0, and using it I just reproduced the bug. So I'm going to fix it, thanks for reporting this bug.
