The URL http://www.kubuntu.org/download.php there are links such as http://ie.releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-releases/kubuntu/6.06/ instead of http://ie.releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-releases/kubuntu/6.06.1/
If 6.06.1 is a bugfix release then why has the URL http://www.kubuntu.org/download.php not been pointed to the new release? Have I missed something I should have read about? When upgrading to 6.06.1 the MD5SUM files I found that the following files are incorrect (they should not be identical). http://ie.releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-releases/kubuntu/6.06.1/MD5SUMS http://ie.releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-releases/kubuntu/6.06/MD5SUMS I'll try to be clearer and more explicit in the future. The MD5SUMS file for 6.06.1 is wrong, I'm guessing, and ought to be changed. I'm also guessing that would be a one- or two-line fix in some automated distro script to give the MD5SUMS files version info so this is less likely to occur in the future. For example: version=6.06.1 # where I thought the version number could be obtained from pwd but could not work out how to do so when I saw pwd takes no options mv ./MD5SUMS ./MD5SUMS-release$version Couldn't something like that work? -- Download Dapper.1 iso md5sums not available https://launchpad.net/bugs/56795 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
