I have this issue as well, and I have tried different NvAGP settings. The system locks up with 100% CPU usage by Xorg, but I could still log into the box and pulled some information. I ran the nvidia-bug- report.sh file, and I've attached the information here. I'll also send onto Nvidia, but I wanted to provide it here as well
