Public bug reported: Spanish install has Amarok as default file associaton for 'inode/directory', and not Dolphin, and this may be annoying in some cases.
For instance, when I plug my external usb drive (where I store my music library) a window pops up and I choose to open a file browser (the other option is open Gwenview), but Dolphin is not opened and instead Amarok begins to explore the drive looking for audio files. Occasionally this causes the system to slow down and eventually gets it locked for a while. Also: Firefox downloads window, right click and 'Open folder' does nothing but tries to open with Amarok. It seems this is not happening in English installs (and probably other languages) where the default file association is Dolphin. Users have to manually edit the file association, if they know what is happening, which might not be the case for non experienced kde users. In my case this is not the first time I have this problem. In the past I tried Kubuntu (maybe 10.10, I don't remember) and I had this very same problem and this was the reason why I stopped using Kubuntu, as every time I plugged my external drive the system slowed down and eventually got locked for a while which made my desktop unusable. So, in my opinion, this is potentially risky in the sense that it may discourage the usage of Kubuntu.
