** Description changed:

- Trying to use xubuntu / ubuntu 11.10 but I can’t seem to use them with
- out turning off hyper threading in the system bios or using noacpi if I
- don’t the kernel will panic. And this seems to be with any distro that
- has the new 3.0 kernel. The newest kernel I can use without problems is
- 2.6.38-13.53 seems to work fine.
