Okay - quick update on this one, apparently before this happened, it failed to install packages from the installation source (USB stick in my case, made with the USB Startup Disk Creator from Ubuntu).
Not sure if it's related or a different bug but NO packages were installed and the OS was unable to start. It didn't even install the bootloader, I tried reinstalling the bootloader by starting the live OS from the USB and using grub-install, and that worked, however Ubuntu still wouldn't start (vmlinuz existed, but there was no initrd, it just kernel paniced when I tried to start it) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/911052 Title: ubiquity crashed upon choosing not to restart To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/911052/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
