Public bug reported: GCC optimizer crashes on compiling attached code. expected it to finish compilation without errors, as happens when not passing optimizer flags to it.
compiled with gcc -o david2 david2.c -std=c99 -O3 also crashes on -O2, -O1, -O, -Os.
