Indeed.  I downloaded libltdl3 (using "aptitude download libltdl3"), and
the package it pulled had the SO file in there.  I'd chalk it up to the
Feisty -> Gutsy dist-upgrade (since it worked before and not after), but
I can't really see how a broken package could've got introduced there.

Requested output included for completeness, just in case other people
see this strange phenomenon.
