I've attached a patch, though probably it may get better handled like other PHP 
packages, which ask if you want to add a module - instead of just adding it at 
the end of the ini file.
There should rather get a file added in the "conf.d" directory, e.g. 
/etc/php5/apache2/conf.d/.
