I'm getting the same frustrating issues after I upgraded to Ubuntu 11.10 everything was working great up until then. I use OWW, but digitemp also shows the same behavior: random hangs after a few minutes of reading (sometimes). Sometimes my mouse even locks up when the hangs occur. I cannot kill the process once oww or digitemp hang.
