@Martin: yes, that would definitely be easier and probably best for the
SRU but, with the current implementation, I think (at least for
Precise), we have a standard way to deal with this problem in the API.
Should the way we handle suffixes change (for whatever reason), we would
only have to change how that specific function works (without an API
break) without having to change all of our handlers.
