I had to reinstall the video driver since I switched computers with this hard drive. I now run NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver (version 173) -- current recommended version. I used Mines 2.32.1 on the other computer and it worked great. I tried reinstalling the Mines game. This is not an emergency fix. It seems that everything else works well, and I only use Mines when I am bored. Thank you for your help.
