Public bug reported:

When I run Firefox, Unity (and all Gnome applications) stops responding
to mouse clicks. This is very weird behaviour: for example, hovering
over upper-right indicator widgets shows them as hovered, but clicking
on them does nothing. It seems that only one window reacts to the mouse
clicks at a time - for example, clicking on a gnome terminal, shown over
a chromium browser, sends mouse events to the underlying window. This
window is sometimes changed randomly.

** Affects: unity-2d (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
