No, at the moment I got hit I only had two VMs under libvirt. On one of them I asked for a reboot -- and got the crash.
I usually run with between 3 or 4 VMs (this is my limit, before the laptop cannot really be used interactively anymore). Also, the VMs are only active for the tests I run -- as soon as the tests end, I either upgrade something and again run tests, or I terminate the instance; if needed, I will start another VM with a different Ubuntu version. At the moment of the crash both VMs were Maverick (server AMD64 and i386, IIRC). It only happened this once so far. I cannot repeat at will. Today I have been running with QEMU 1.0, and so far no errors. A total of around 40 VM instances have been started/restarted so far, with no errors. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/900989 Title: qemu-system-x86_64 crashed with SIGSEGV in malloc_consolidate() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu-kvm/+bug/900989/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
