First of all: I 've now version 3.2.1 of SimpleScan and my OS is of now: Ubuntu version 11.10. You ask: "..how does it know when to stop scanning? ..." What do you mean by that question? Of course I can stop the scanning after each page, but then the result is not one file with more pages: Each scan then becomes a file.
