tormon, some question: You mean, I will "start" with Mandriva GRUB, go
to the command line and install then the Ubuntu-Grub - right?

So at the cmd line I try to handle with "setup" ... hmm, I don't really
know to do ... for my understanding: with "setup" I can copy/Install the
"stage"-Files from Mandriva-Grub to Ubuntu-Grub ?

Ok, this is what I do:

> root (hd0,2) this will change to my Ubuntu Partition (Mandriva
> is on hd0,4)
> setup (hd0,0) or setup /dev/sda this will install Ubuntu-Grub to MBR -
> right? Or must I specific here the Mandriva-Stage files ?
> root (hd0,4) change back to Mandriva-Partition

at last how to "pick-up" the Ubuntu-Conffile?

Sorry, I will help, but I'm not a real linux expert, yet!
