Yesterday evening the new binaries were build in the winff repository [1]. If you are plagued by this bug, you might consider adding that repository to your list as described on the same page [1]. Or if you really only wanted to install it just once, you can of course get the *.deb file from there as well.
For Precise this bug is fixed the moment that Winff is synced from Debian, where the new version is available in sid now.
