This bug seems to have been fixed for 11.10, so I cannot reproduce it anymore. From memory, I can provide the following:
1. Install Ubuntu 11.04, change the gtk theme to something else. I think Clearlooks showed the problem. 2. The unity global menu bar's GTKMenuItems should look the same as if they were in a GTKMenuBar in a window or in the gnome-globalmenu project's global menu applet. 3. The unity global menu bar's GTKMenuItems look different than they would if they were in a GTKMenuBar in a window or in the gnome- globalmenu project's global menu applet (see picture I originally attached). ** Changed in: indicator-appmenu Status: Incomplete => Confirmed ** Changed in: indicator-appmenu (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/774251 Title: Unity global menu bar does not respect GTK theme To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-appmenu/+bug/774251/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
