Public bug reported: I've been measuring power savings on the pm-utils power.d scripts and found that /usr/lib/pm-utils/power.d/disable_wol does not work on a default install because it depends on ethtool which isn't installed by default.
So, should we considering installing ethtool in as a dependency or should we overlook this broken functionality? ** Affects: pm-utils (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/898298 Title: pm-utils: power.d/disable_wol won't work by default as it requires ethtool to work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pm-utils/+bug/898298/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
