If you run a plain delta mirror - perhaps. But despite saving bandwith for 
users, you may need more space to hold various diffs (version 1.0 to 1.1, 1.0 
to 1.2, 1.1 to 1.2 etc.). Also, your server needs to download more packages. As 
they are signed, you cannot build them yourself. Hence probably not more 
mirrors.

Still, I'd really like to see this feature, making the (annoying?)
update progress a lot faster, especcially between releases!
