The first failure in the log is

Voorbereiden om libselinux1 2.0.96-1ubuntu2 te vervangen (door
.../libselinux1_2.0.98-1.1_i386.deb) ...
Uitpakken van vervangende libselinux1 ...
dpkg: error: dpkg status database is locked by another process

which means that there was some other package operation in parallel.

This failure then triggered failures of libpam-modules-bin, procps,
udev, etc. If you just re-attempt the update with

  sudo apt-get -f install
  sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

it should recover. However, the interesting question is how it could
happen that there is another dpkg running in parallel. This is either a
dpkg or perhaps an update-manager bug.

** Package changed: udev (Ubuntu) => update-manager (Ubuntu)

** Summary changed:

- package udev 173-0ubuntu4 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: dependency
problems - leaving unconfigured
+ update fails with dpkg: error: dpkg status database is locked by another
process during dist upgrade
