Hello Joseph; I created a LiveCD of 10.04.3 just now and booted from it. It appears to be equally unaware of the wifi device: in the networking menu at the top right of the screen, I see:
Wired network disconnected VPN connections > ie no "Wireless network" Is there some further testing you would like me to carry out? Should I submit a bug report upstream (if so, please tell me where I should do that)?
