Public bug reported: This is not something new for UbuntuOne but I was hoping it would have been fixed 2 years down the line. When I try to sync a large number of files with ubuntuone, like my pictures folder which has a good 11 or 12,000 files in, it seem to spend long periods of time not syncing any data. If I drop the same files in Dropbox it syncs in a night. UbuntuOne seems to take over a week just doing a couple of gigs a night. When I do a u1sdtool --status is just says it's processing the queues like it would when it's syncing. This has always been the case and I think it is about time this was fixed. UbuntOne might well give 5GB of free space and offer cheap alternatives to dropbox but it's no use to anyone if you can't sync the data up to it!
