I am using Ubuntu 7.04. I have never had sound. It seems like Ubuntu detects the sound card but there is no sound. Below is the output from lspci -nn. This was a custom PC. I used an gigabyte motherboard with on-board sound. The manufacturer of the soundcard is realtek. The sound card works fine on Windows XP. Please help. I would love to use Ubuntu as my default OS but without sound thats hard to do.
