I've had a look at this package and it looks like it should be synced from debian rather than merged.
Ubuntu: 1.1.4-0ubuntu1 Debian: 1.1.4-1 The only relevant ubuntu changes are the ubuntu packaging of the upstream version (done in debian) and the makefile.diff patch that was added. The contents of makefile.diff were applied in debian too so that change is now irrelevant.
