Unfortunately I don't know when it was fixed as it's not actually
something that I need to do anymore (not sharing a computer).  Just
tested it yesterday to make sure it wasn't still a problem after
receiving an email notifying me the bug had been close (or rejected).

Since it works now I thought I'd post my command line in case anyone
else was trying to do the same kind of thing and having issues w/ the
gksu using gksudo thing.
