Public bug reported:
Printing a pdf (Intersil AN9415.pdf for example) does not work on my
system using the Adobe plug-in for Firefox. There seems to be something
about the doc that CUPS does not like. It does work if printed via
evince or an XP system.
Does not work: Ubuntu 11.04/FF 7.0.1 with Adobe plug-in
Does work: Ubuntu 11.04/evince, and XP/FF8/Adobe plug-in
The printer (a USB Brother DCP-135C) is on a print server running 11.11
to which both other machines send prints. In all cases the doc gets to
the printer queue on the server, but in the failing case the doc is then
immediately wiped from the list without any error message.
Many other documents work, and some others do not. I am reporting it
against CUPS because at the very least CUPS should explain why it
rejects the document
