The text hinting option in Settings Manager was set to None. I can't remember exactly what I changed it to, but something other than None, obviously. Immediately, the bottom part of my autohidden panel turned to black. Changing the hinting back to None had no effect, so the panel has been looking incomplete ever since.
However, every time I unhide the panel, it shows up complete, without any problems. I'm not using compositing effects in the window manager, in case that makes a difference. ** Attachment added: "The bottom-left corner of my screen after fiddling with font hinting" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-panel/+bug/880504/+attachment/2598091/+files/panel-bug-c.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/880504 Title: Pixel bugs in xfce panel To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-panel/+bug/880504/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
