Public bug reported: i am using ubunty 11.10. I have setup danish and hungarian keyboard due to the need of typing hungarian from time to time and it has special characters that are not on the danish keyboard. i have setup with keyboard preferences and i can switch either by clicking on it or by pressing shift+caps-lock. it is setup that each window has it's own setting and the new window should start with the default setting that is danish. however this does not always work and many time the new window keeps the setting of the previous one. also often the indicator says that it is on one language but when i type it is really on the other one. most annoying when the computer locks the screen and instead of being on the standard language it is in hungarian and on that it is hard to type in my password. it was the same with the previous ubuntu version from which i upgraded to this. it is worth now though, more times switching to the wrong language.
