Wrong, even the LiveCD has *exactly* the same problem. And my USB is set to discard all settings on shutdown, so it is a fresh start all the times. This is not an ATI/NVIDIA/whatever video driver issue, is just the window border manager not doing its job. Attached is a screen-shot of the scale plugin showing the broken effect !
