Public bug reported: Since upgrading from 11.04 to 11.10 - in the last 2 days my screen has crashed 3 times:
/var/log/syslog.1:Nov 8 12:41:47 ropey kernel: [54337.883634] screen[1253]: segfault at 7fff507f0b88 ip 0000000000406744 sp 00007fff507f0b80 error 6 in screen[400000+58000] /var/log/syslog.1:Nov 8 20:09:54 ropey kernel: [81225.004031] screen[9263]: segfault at 7fff30864f18 ip 00007f8b9ed2e58b sp 00007fff30864f20 error 6 in libc-2.13.so[7f8b9ece7000+195000] /var/log/syslog:Nov 9 15:41:19 ropey kernel: [151509.897929] screen[2211]: segfault at 7fff7826f458 ip 0000000000406744 sp 00007fff7826f450 error 6 in screen[400000+58000] I've never seen this behaviour in 11.04. It appears to happen when I'm AFK, so it's unlikely due to local input. Screen is launched via byobu. I'm not sure what other information I can give to help in diagnosing this issue, so please let me know! ** Affects: screen (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/888138 Title: screen segfault since upgrading to 11.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/screen/+bug/888138/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
