Thanks for your bug report. I'll target this to alsa-driver for now so we can get an apport hook, but this may be suited to pulseaudio or possibly the kernel as well. In any case, could you please run the following command in a terminal on your laptop and then change the status of this bug back to new: apport-collect 887913
That will add some more system information and log files to your report so that someone more familiar with debugging sound issues can diagnose the problem. Thanks in advance. ** Package changed: ubuntu => alsa-driver (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: alsa-driver (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/887913 Title: Regression - Oneiric: extremely choppy audio, multimedia unusable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/887913/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
