** Description changed: Using tmux with urxvt results in frequent screen corruption. I am running tmux as "tmux -2" to enable 256 colour mode and my .tmux.conf contains: set-option -g default-terminal "screen-256color" ... to enable 256 colours for apps running inside tmux. When corruption occurs, neither clearing the screen with "clear" or "tput clear" helps. What does seem to help is switching to another tmux window and back to the problematic one.
