1. I inserted the install disk and restarted my computer. I then held down the
alt key and booted my macbook pro from the install disc. A screen came up
asking me if I wanted to run it without installing or to install it. I hit
install, and after a few moments a screen came up telling me that it could not
find a medium containing a live file system. I followed the same procedure
holding down the c key to boot from the disk as well. I was met with the same
result.
2. I expected the disk to install
3. The screen telling me that it could not find a medium containing a live file
system.

** Description changed:

- When I attempt to install Ubuntu 11.10, it tells me that it cannot find
- a live something. This only happens with Ubuntu 11.10. I installed
- Ubuntu 10.04, and it worked, but it won't let me connect to the
- internet.
