Public bug reported:

as stated in subject, if i try to mount a samba share not situated inside the  
lan subnet (in my case lan 192.168.1.0/24, samba share outside lan 
192.168.2.0/24) using the server domain name.
using the ip address i can mount the share.

gigolo onlye reported a generic error "it was not possible to mount the
windows share"
