Same bug exists in kernel 3.0.0-12

USB mouse and keyboard freezes occur on average every 3 hours on my
system. Used kernels 2.6.27-17 and 2.6.38-11 (Ubuntu 11.04) as well as
kernel 3.0.0-12 (Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot) - all identical behaviour,
regular freezes. Note: the mouse freezes *instantly* when a USB
microphone (Samson CU01) is being connected. On a second identical
machine used as server (no GUI) with kernel 2.6.28-14 the generic-usb
fills the system log with "control queue full" messages and no USB
connection is possible.

This is a serious bug since reboots every 3 hours are very annoying. The
mouse actually froze again when I was writing this post!

Machine: Shuttle xpc SN78SH7 with AMD Phenom 9850 Quad-Core, 4GB, nVidia
MCP78S [GeForce 8200] controller with the BIOS at the latest version
SN78S10Y (as of 2011-11-02)

PS: The same problem has been reported in
