Public bug reported: When entering a command (e.g. "gedit") an pressing return in the search bar, unity doesn't wait for the search to be completed before starting the command. This results in unity starting the latest command from the history, e.g. the gnome calculator.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch the launcher. 2. Enter "gcalctool", wait a few seconds, press return. (The calculator is started) 3. Launch the launcher again 4. Quickly enter "gedit" and immediately press return 5. The calculator is started Expected behaviour: After step 4, unity searches the appropriate command and launches it (as it would do if I would wait a few seconds before hitting return). This is a major bug (in my eyes), as it may even result in lost data (e.g. when accidentally running "killall lowriter" again). I have a very fast machine with Ubuntu on an SSD, so the effect may even be much worse on other computers.
