I have had two more hangs. The messages are not consistent. In these
most recent hangs, there was no mention of a degraded raid. In fact I
did not see anything at all go by that looked like an error message
before it dumped me into busybox.

Is there a way I can get a larger console when booting? I must turn off
the graphical console in grub to see anything at all when booting. If I
don't turn off the graphical console, it dumps me into busybox with the
screen still showing the grub splash window. But the text console I get
with the graphical console turned off is only 80 characters by 25 lines
with no ability to scroll back.
