@Dave and others being still affected by this in Oneiric (with updates installed): you are likely experiencing a different crash, so please report it as a new bug. The best way would be to enable apport (via editing /etc/default/apport, then "sudo restart apport") and reproduce the crash. It should ask you to report it on Launchpad.
