We can use displayconfig-gtk for X server (video card driver, monitor, etc) configuration ! Look at this specification - https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/displayconfig-gtk Ubuntu 7.04 already has displayconfig-gtk package in universe :)
