I understand that of course, but as a general thing I prefer to report
bugs in Ubuntu packages using the Ubuntu bug tracker as for example
Ubuntu may have modified or patched the packages.  After all, Ubuntu
maintainers can always notify upstream once they have determined that
the bug is not due to any changes they have made.
