I got the same bug on 11.10 with a fresh install and a handly compiled last compiz (with soreau's scripts). This is not only reproductible, this appends each time. It is not possible to set a window in the right top corner with grid. Any expected way to put it in the corner will set the window on the top half of the screen. Sounds like a copy-paste uncompleted between 2 lines (top, and top left) in source.
